“ This stuff is elevated and at a good price. Everything was 5/5 stars. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful so they didn't have to use as much sugar and salt to hide it. The portions were quite good. The cooking was done just right. The recipes are very unique for Tex-Mex. The service was excellent. The prices are very reasonable. I had a top-shelf margarita, enchiladas rellenos if I remember right (with juicy, flavorful pork!), the house salsa (which was pleasantly smoky) went with lighter chips that still held together well, and a chocolate chimichanga with clearly-house-made, very creamy vanilla-apple ice cream. This is on my restaurant short list now. ”

“ Stopped by for an early dinner. The drinks were tasty but a bit weak. I had the Burrito Real and it was good, but a bit salty. Had the Gran Nachos and they were really good. Loved the pork. My wife had the Chile Colorado and she really enjoyed it. Had the flan and the Choco Chimi for desert. They were excellent. Especially the Choco Chimi. I think it was a 4.5 star experience, but since that isn’t an option I’m ok with rounding up to a 5 The staff was very nice as well. Best Mexican food I’ve had in The Birmingham area. ”
